Our richness: Barbaresco, and not only

The vineyard: month after month the vines develop the grapes. From its berries the richness of the Neive region finds its best expression. The calcareous-clayish, medium-textured soil gives the perfect grapes to produce perfumed, elegant and full-bodied wines. The secret is to enhance these inborn characteristics during the work in the vineyard. At Fontanabianca, manual work and the use of non-aggressive treatments are the main elements in supporting the vines' growth that, together with a careful soil analysis, can give quality grapes, the fruit of this area which is dedicated to the production of Barbaresco and other important wines. 14 hectares of vineyards, located in the commune of Neive, are dedicated to the cultivation of Nebbiolo grapes for the production of Barbaresco and Langhe Nebbiolo, as well as the grapes for Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba and Arneis. Their production is crowned by the crus Bordini and Serraboella to produce Barbaresco. All the wines are produced with 100% grapes of the same variety.

CRU BORDINI:

the vineyard of Nebbiolo for Barbaresco, with southern exposure, is located in the commune of Neive. The grapes are perfect for a full-bodied, elegant, fruity and pleasant wine that can be appreciated young. Its ageing potential in the bottle is excellent, since time will bring balance among all its elements.


CRU SERRABOELLA:

the vineyard of Nebbiolo for Barbaresco, with southern/western exposure, is located in the commune of Neive. It gives a ready-to-drink wine, thanks to its prior ageing in wooden casks. Elegant, with great perfumes and texture, balanced: it is perfect for ageing in the bottle as well.


VINEYARDS OF NEBBIOLO FOR BARBARESCO:

there are three Nebbiolo vineyards located in the commune of Neive, with southern/western exposure, for the production of a high quality Barbaresco which is pleasant on the palate, rich in perfume and full-bodied.
